Prescription Drugs
Choice® POS II HSA preventive medications are covered
at 100% by the plan. Non-preventive medications covered by the HSA
option are subject to coinsurance after the deductible. All Choice®
POS II HRA option medications are paid out-of-pocket by the team
member with a copay plus coinsurance. HRA funds cannot be used to
pay for prescriptions or Employee Assistance Program (EAP) copays.
For the HSA, see Medco's list of preventive
medications and enter your medications and the frequency you
would purchase them in the "Preventive" or "Non-Preventive"
Medication section. Use Medco's
Website to determine the cost of your prescription history.

| Without coverage, your total
medical expenses for 2012 are estimated to be: |
The estimate of your total 2012 medical expenses above and the out-of-network
option comparison chart below are based on average medical costs shown
above. For in-network care, the option comparisons are based on the
discounted costs available through the plan networks. The in-network
columns assume you use network providers for all services, while the
out-of-network columns assume you never use network providers giving
you best-case and worst-case scenarios.

Save money with the Health Savings Account (Choice® POS II HSA Option)
You have the potential to save money on your taxes by using the Health
Savings Account for your deductibles, coinsurance and other out-of-pocket
expenses for medical. As an example, the chart below shows your potential
federal income tax savings if you receive all your care in-network and
enroll in the Choice® POS II HSA and contribute to a Health Savings Account.

Suggested annual contribution
from you:
Based on expected in-network expenses outlined above, your maximum annual contribution for 2012 is the maximum HSA contribution for the 2012 plan year; including contributions from you and TECO, this amount is $3,100 for employee only coverage and $6,250 for all other coverage levels. The example here presumes you earn the full TECO matching contribution. In addition, you carry forward any money you have left in the HSA at the end of the plan year for future healthcare expenses. |
